This cabin is surrounded by hundreds of acres of woodlands owned by camp owner which is within thousands of acres of timberlands to ensure privacy and to provide many recreational opportunities such as atv riding,hiking trails,bike riding,bird watching,cross country skiing, snowmobiling,canoeing,kayaking,tubeing,boating ,hunting, and some of best bass fishing anywhere.One canoe, kayak , or aluminum boat comes with camp ( your choice). Additional Canoe ,kayak, and aluminum boat rentals also available.Also fishing gear can be provided including fly fishing rods and waders.Down river pickup can be arranged so you will not have to paddle back.The camp has an outhouse with an inside bathroom with shower and sink. dug well for water and we will supply review golden princess cruise drinking water from our drilled well as needed.new propane appliances,lights,heat.All utensils ,dishes,linens provided.the camp was built in 2010.outside has campfire pit,picnic table,horseshoes,gas grill,hammock.full length review golden princess cruise porch to relax on.Gravel pit on site for target shooting.Camping gear can be provided for additional campsites by the river or remote.If you require electricity the camp is wired and there is a plug in for generator outside ,gas will be supplied for generator so we are sure the gas is fresh and treated for ethanol. there will be a $4.00 charge per gallon for gas used(you should get about 2 hours per gallon).You are also welcome to bring your own generator.Please respect other guests and keep smoking outside or on the deck. During the months of november to april there will not be any running water but drinking water will be provided in 5 gallon containers. Thank You
Surrounded by woodlands, you are about 4 1/2 miles to the paved road and 1/2 hour to the nearest town and 1 hour to the city of bangor.In about an hour or less you can be at Mt. Katahdin which you can see from the river.you are 1/4 mile from the end of an atv trail that you can access from camp.accessible by 2 wheel drive vehicle.(call to check on spring road and river conditions)
Deposits: $ 100.00 deposit to reserve camp for a week or $50 for less than a week, which will be returned by mail if rental is canceled as long as the rental date can be filled otherwise it is forfeited.
Other Fees: YOUR CHOICE of one canoe or one kayak will be provided for your stay with life jackets and paddles, 2 person Kayaks available, additional Kayak and canoe rentals available at $6.00 a day or $35 for the week per boat.There will be an additional review golden princess cruise fee of $5.00 per person per night for additional guests over six.

We spent a greet week relaxing by the water at the barely used/new cabin. The amenities are as explained. Steve and Liz were great hosts. If my adventures take me back to Maine, I definately will stay at Bass-Ak_Woods again. Thanks Steve and Liz!
