To answer your question american airlines arena dallas The Woodstock Inn is indeed closed for repair. It will likely be closed for a long time, unfortunately. I was a guest there when the storm hit. The Inn was unbelievably helpful to guests and townspeople alike from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning (at which time the hotel closed). All vacant rooms were made available to local people who lost their homes, including their dogs. Food was distributed free to everyone. Despite american airlines arena dallas the absence of electricity, water, and plumbing, the staff and management of the hotel was omnipresent, helping everyone although their own homes and families were in jeopardy. Generators were brought in to light the lobby area and entranceway.
Thanks for the report from the scene, Paul. That is good to hear what a great staff can do to comfort american airlines arena dallas not only guests but provide refuge for townspeople in time of need. It really speaks well of the inn.
I just read that Cliff House would not refund deposits for the guests who had reserved a room during the weekend Irene hit. That is unconscionable and should be illegal. Makes me scared to ever reserve there again. Where is their compassion?
