Travelling from Alice Springs to Darwin through the Northern Territory was amazing it was almost 40 degrees so we just kept stopping at beautiful waterholes and thermal springs to go swimming and cool off!
My most memorable road trip was driving to Maastricht norwegian discount cruise in the Nederlands to take my little sister to University. We departed on August 7th and drove from the Midlands to Folkstone. We hopped onto the Eurotunnel and drove through France, then Belgium and then the Netherlands. We then found her new home. We unloaded norwegian discount cruise her lifes belonging up four flights of stairs, then drove to Ikea. A sat nav would have been very handy at this party of the journey! We got some furniture, a bed, chest of drawers, desk, bookcase and then took it back to her house and up four flights of stairs. We spent the night building the furniture. The next morning I got up at 6.40am and drove ten and half hours home back to England!
my memorable road trip was getting a call from a racing driver friend who had to test at Le Mans at short notice. We jumped into the car at two in the morning, drove to Le Mans, crossing beautiful norwegian discount cruise french countryside early morning, tested the car all day and drove back to Luton, getting back at 1 the next morning. norwegian discount cruise fantastic and memorable, road trip and racing cars!
It was to Hollyhead norwegian discount cruise Port to board Ferry to Ireland, with my then partner. He was Irish and insisted he knew route, timings and ferry admission. What he d overlooked however was the car he had would be stolen, whilst we were in a service station. norwegian discount cruise Luckily I was sobbing, when a couple, going to same port and same ferry saved the day. Cheers Tammy and Wes. Friends ever since
My dad and I took a three week long road trip around Greece. It was a requirement for my Undergraduate degree to complete three years travel in either Greece or Italy and my dad came along for the ride. It was a great three weeks! We drove loads of Greece and saw everywhere: Athens, Delphi, Sparta, norwegian discount cruise Olympia, Thebes and lots of other places in between.
most memorable was one with my mum she was driving round the roundabout norwegian discount cruise i had my new at the time boyfriend in the car soon as she turned all the bits of her car started falling off the exhaust the bumper everything talk about emabrrasing x
Travelling from Scotland to England, the car broke down and had to be hand winched onto the back of the breakdown vehicle as no-one informed the rescue man that the car wasn t driveable. Eventually set off, to have the breakdown vehicle break down had visions of an even bigger norwegian discount cruise breakdown norwegian discount cruise vehicle handwinching the two vehicles onto it, but car was transferred to a lowloader, and we eventually arrived home in the small hours.
My most memorable road trip a trip from North Yorkshire to Suffolk when my first born was 3 weeks old We had to stop every couple of hours to feed him, and got stuck behind a tractor for what seemed like forever, eventually we made it, after 7 hours of journey!
6 months after passing my test we took a family holiday driving from wirral to somerset i was all prepared tyres, water, oil etc all checked. less than an hour away from home the car i was following blew a tyre doing 70mph on the motorway! so in torrential rain i had to drive with no directions as i couldnt norwegian discount cruise wait for the other car. i made it all the to just past london all on my own! quite the stressful journey for a new driver
2 weeks after passing my test, 3 friends and I squeezed into my little Ford KA and did a whistlestop tour of all our mates who were in first year at various Uni s around the country. We went from Hartlepool to London, to Oxford, to Cambridge, to Leeds and then home again, in the space of 48 hrs! All to a banging soundtrack of some classic late 90s indie anthems. Happy days!
Our top road trip. like many memorable events, happened entirely by accident. We missed norwegian discount cruise the turning we needed to get to the beautiful Wye Valley and found ourselves meandering along empty rural roads through some breathtaking scenery norwegian discount cruise in Gloucestershire. We were not sure where we were going but didn t really care!
Picking up our hire car in San Fransico and heading down the coastal road to Los Angeles was amazing. Driving up into the San Gabriel Mountains and into the Mojave desert onto Las Vegas. and returning back to San Francisco via the Sierra Nevada and climbing up Mount Whitney , bumping into hundreds of Harley Davidson bikers in Mammoth. Camping at Yosemite. Most amazing trip ever.
The most memorable road trip was when we travelled from Devon to London to watch The X Factor, severe rain, a blown tyre in the middle lane of the motorway and someone stole our satnav!! X factor was amazing though!
Driviing back from skegness my son who has severe autism was really board and wanted to play look at me this is where he looks back at the pics we have take on our wkend away he was looking norwegian discount cruise on my phone for about 5 mins whenhe norwegian discount cruise screamed leaned forward and threw my phone right out of my window on the motor way we couldn t stop as it was so busy and full so we had to keep driving til we could turn round and drive back we did find my phone in a million pieces on the road we lost all the pics and videos when we asked Connor why hehad done it he said he d seen a picture he didn t like and remembered the song that was playing when the picture was taken that s why when he seen the pic he wasn t happy little monkey was in bad books for a while xx
Driving norwegian discount cruise from Ontario through the national parks and lake district of Canada to Agawa Canyon, where the autumn leaf colours were absolutely amazing, and then down to Niagara Falls. Somehow, the tacky, norwegian discount cruise neon-lit surroundings failed to detract from the natural beauty and wonder of the place.
The best part of the whole experience though was that I made her buy her ticket for the flight norwegian discount cruise first, which was the last in economy. When I went to buy my ticket I found a First class ticket for $20 cheaper – my suffering was worth it!
My most memorable road trip was driving from the UK to Lake Garda, in Italy. We stopped overnight in the Swiss Alps (what a beautiful place!) and I ve never seen such a clear nights sky, it was like looking up into the wide open mouth of space. On the way home our car broke down in France (it wasn t a hire car!) and we had to sit in the middle of rural France with a steaming engine and no reception. That s the stuff memories are made of! Great competition!
arriving at the Alamo desk in New York to find out they didnt have mine or any other vehicle available for our road trip to California. the only vehicle they had was a senior managers brand new company car, they called him and he said we could have it.
