United Airlines has taken delivery of the airline s first Boeing 787, becoming the first airline in North America to take delivery of the type. United Airlines received the first of 50 Boeing 787-8s on order on September 24, 2012
This delivery marks the first of 50 787-8 Dreamliners that United has on order. The airline s Boeing 787-8 cabin is configured with 36 seats in United BusinessFirst, 72 seats in United Economy Plus and 111 seats in United Economy.
According to Boeing, customers will find their flights more comfortable as a result of the 787 s improved lighting, bigger windows, larger new york city cruises overhead bins, lower cabin altitude and enhanced ventilation new york city cruises systems, among other features.
United s first Dreamliner is expected to arrive at Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport later this week to begin a month-long training and certification program, new york city cruises including non-commercial flights to each of United s domestic hubs.
