For a romantic meal; THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA. Hands down the most romantic spot on the island. dublin ireland car rental We went last Friday night at 6:00 pm. We were the first couple seated. dublin ireland car rental We had 4 waiters. We were seated at the waters dublin ireland car rental edge with the option to have the waterside gazebo if we wanted. The table choices are first come, first choice. A grand piano played our favorite requests, and we watches dublin ireland car rental the sun set with a dessert and a 2nd bottle of wine. The resturant is in the far eastern part of the island and is hard to find, so a rental car is just as cheap as taxi fare there and back and you don't wait for the taxi for an hour to pick up. This all comes at a price. Two dinners, two desserts, and 2 bottles of Zinfindel wine set the hubby back $227.00. It was worth EVERY penny. We had our picture taken at the table together and it is my most cherished memory dublin ireland car rental of the island!
My husband dublin ireland car rental found an unexpected experience at the Hooters. He saw 3 hulahops leaning against the front of the bar and casually dublin ireland car rental asked what they were for. Three very lean and volupuous waitresses showed him that it si possible to sasa dance with a hulahop. He won't admitt it, but I think it was HIS favorite memory of the island.
Looking back, overall, the place we found ourselves dublin ireland car rental most often was a little store in the clock tower plaza that our parasail pilot suggested. They served a goatmeat meatloaf dublin ireland car rental on a stick. It sounds terrible I know, but it was deep fried like a corn dog and was absolutely GREAT. It had a real ethic name that I cant rememder, but it was a quick, cheap meal. A Balashi beer and this meatloaf stick was only $5.00 American. Not bad cosidering the size (about the size of a big Johnsonville brat). A Wendy's double cheeseburger (just the sandwich) was $12.00 American a couple of blocks away. My husband just had to have a cheeseburger in paridaise so he could sing the Jimmy Buffett song all day long. Haha.
Another good deal I forgot to mention dublin ireland car rental is The REDSAIL Watersport midnight catamaran cruise. For around $60 per person, you board a 66' sailboat for a 3 hour sail. Here's the neat part; They give each person a Aruba T-shirt, horderves(fried coconut shrimp, cheese olives on a stick, rolled up turkey pinwheels), and there is an FREE OPEN BAR for 3 hours! dublin ireland car rental My favorite drinks were the Aruba Arebas, Green Iguanas and the simple Rum Punches. After 5 or 6 of these island drinks, I was brave enough to ask to steer the boat. Denardo Angel (the captain and Gilligan) let me steer for a half hour! It was a good, cheap evening!
I forgot your main question. All the buffets in all the highrise hotels were excellent. The buffet at the Holiday Inn Sunspree was suprisingly elegant and affordable. They had a theme each night. We ate on the Dutch and Seafood nites there.

The buffet at the Holiday Inn Sunspree is listed at the check in desk. When we arrived, the seafood and Dutch day were listed a couple of days in the future. I couldn't nail down what was going to be served though. I was told that local ingerdients and suppliers (fishermen) dictated the theme and it varied week to week. Last week, the seafood day featured fresh marinated Mahi Mahi (?) fish grilled to order. The main Dutch dish was a cheese chicken dish that was to die for. I REALLY wanted some conch cowder, but it wasn't available either day. I will keep going back to that island until it is. LOL.
I have to tell you, I didn't have a meal for 7 days that disappointed me. Some were expensive, but all were a delight. I think bad food and resturants don't last long as word of mouth is their best and worst advertising.
