The Cruise Web recently sponsored a trip for their employees to get away with a 3-day cruise to Nassau on the Carnival Imagination . The group of 16 was led by sales director and expert cruiser, Heather Wasson. While onboard, the team enjoyed all the ship had to offer from the comedy shows to betting big in the casino to the relaxing environment of the spa. The group stuck together off the ship as well on a catamaran and snorkeling excursion in the Bahamas.
But the cruise wasn t all fun, as there was learning and work involved too (though on a cruise, work is pretty fun). This was a chance to tour the ship and see the new amenities and services offered onboard. Our group was able to venture into the various suites and staterooms on the ship. After getting settled, one way airline tickets the group explored the public areas of the ship, including the pool and pool deck, spa and fitness area, mini golf course and jogging track, along with the thrilling water slide that makes you feel like a kid again!
As Carnival promises, the cruise was fun for all. As the ship left the Miami port, the sail away celebration got underway and the sunset over the city left a magnificent view. Dinner was served as a late dining option in the Spirit Dining room. With new options each night, the menu included everything from grilled chicken and burgers to escargot and lobster on the formal night. one way airline tickets Some of our favorite dishes included the beefsteak tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella appetizer and the grilled flat-iron steak.
The catamaran and snorkeling one way airline tickets shore excursion was the perfect Bahamas adventure for anyone looking for a fun way to soak in the sun and experience island life. The 3-hour trip included boating, snorkeling, swimming, and refreshing tropical drinks for all.
I thought I would prefer anytime dining over traditional dining, so I was disappointed when we had an assigned time, but I was surprised to realize how much I liked the traditional dining! Our wait staff got to know us and our preferences very quickly and that was great. It was also a time when I knew we d all be together if we lost track of each other during the day. I d recommend traditional over anytime dining now!
I enjoyed the Art Auction. There was a great mix of different styles of art and the people were so knowledgeable. You could ask any of the staff there about the artwork and they could tell you about the artist and the story behind the painting.
