Several weeks ago, my family and I went to Collage for dinner. We like hunting the "all you can eat" dining place in hotels, most likely because for the past two years and still going, BCA credit card* is offering an irresistible promotion of "BUY 1 GET 1" on several all you can eat dining in five stars hotel, such as Asia (Ritz Carlton), Sailendra (JW Marriot), Signature (Kempinski), Satoo (ShangriLa) and the newest one, Collage at Pullman hotel.
Food selections at Collage were limited compare to other hotel's buffet dining, although their selections were still way more than the one at Signature, Kempinski. Take example on the fresh sashimi, it only had two items, salmon and tuna, while usually at others they have wider selections with tako (octopus) or snapper. They also didn't serve fresh oyster. Oxtail soup was one that they also didn't have.
However, on the bright side. I love their Indonesian dishes, especially the assorted chillis, the green sambal with anchovies cheapest car rentals in florida is a must try. I normally never went for Indonesian food during buffet, but I'm glad I did as their Indonesian dishes were above average. Pasta selections were vary as well, they have pasta in green (spinach) and red colors which we can ask to cook them in aglio, bolognaise or carbonara style. Their desserts were quite a colorful and tempting selections, although I found it weird that they didn't have gelato . They do have macaroons and it was good, not too sweet.
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and the staffs were extremely polite and attentive. But in the other hand, I'm glad we went there during the buy 1 get 1 promotion as if not, it will not worth the money paid.
