The 69th International Exhibition of Cinematic Art will be held from august 29th to september 8th 2012 at its customary location at the Lido di Venezia. Following the traditional Film Festival organization, the official selection includes 60 films divided in three main sections: The films competing for the Leone d'Oro will be presented in the Venezia 69 section; some of the year's most important works will be presented by Fuori Concorso , for a maximum of 6 films while the Orizzonti section will document the new cinema trends. The international short film contest, Corto Cortissimo , was also confirmed.
